Harvest Moon workshops run regularly at The Sunflower Centre in Brockley. Group numbers are limited to maintain a sense of intimacy and support. We welcome women at any stage of the menopause; you may be contemplating it, in the full throes of it, or still trying to make sense of it. Wherever you are on your menopause journey, we will be with you. If you would like us to come to you with our workshop, we would love to hear from you.
Here’s what we cover in our workshops:
The Menopausal Woman: What is she like? Exploring stereotypes and limiting assumptions.
The Menopause: What is it and what happens?

Some reflections from our workshop facilitators:
From our very first discussion, I have appreciated the warmth, curiosity and spirit of generosity that have imbued all the exchanges Carolyn, Nicky and I have had. It has been such a pleasure to tap in to their wisdom and skill, and I feel what we have generated is truly nurturing, supportive and collaborative in nature. My experience of our workshops is that they are moving, inspiring and deeply connecting; I love the way we have shaped each element so that we are able to cover much ground in fluid and flexible ways. It is wonderful to see that what we prepare does what we want it to – and more – very much because of the women who come along and make it their own. We all gain courage, strength and inspiration in those few hours. These experiences confirm for me yet again what an extraordinary event in a woman’s life the menopause is – and how extraordinary we women are. Soran
What I really enjoy about running the menopause workshop is the ongoing interaction and connection between Soran, Carolyn and myself and with the women who join us for the workshop. The atmosphere between us all feels seamless and the space we will create is one of sharing and support. The workshop is full of variety and I find it a pleasure to share my knowledge and interest with women keen to understand and explore their personal challenges. The participation and contributions from the group leave me feeling enriched, lighter and more connected. Nicky
Through using the principles and practice of the Thinking Environment we created both a sense of safety and the possibility for people to be honest and open about their struggles and their insights. I love how this way of working means that we can draw on the very real wisdom and experience within the group as well as presenting useful information about the menopause and the body. All of us connected in a meaningful way and the women seemed comfortable to share their thoughts feelings and ideas. We all benefited, as facilitators and participants alike in the guided sleep meditation, yoga and sharing of food and drink. It was for me a moving and colourful experience. Carolyn
